In the Words of our Monterey Guests

Our stay at Casa Munras was spectacular! The room was cozy and cleanly. The grounds were well maintained and the heated pool was perfect! Although finding parking on busy nights was a problem but the front desk handled that very well. All staff were friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The spa was amazing and sooo relaxing, and a short walking distance to downtown Monterey.

We went there for dinner at around 5:30 PM. We had a choice of dining indoors or outdoors. Having been outside all day long, we chose indoor dining. Looking at the menu I was afraid the cuisine, which included Tapas, would be a little too highbrow for my simple tastes. They have a full bar so that was a plus. The wife ordered the empanadas. I ordered a pizza, of which there were a few on the menu. We shared both. The empanadas were very good, and the pizza was excellent, a nice surprise in this very Mexican themed restaurant. The excellent dining experience was just a bonus to our stay at Casa Munras Spa & Hotel. We had a wonderful weekend in Monterey thanks to them.

Great location to downtown Monterey.Walk to shops, restaurants bakeries and there’s a good restaurant bar connected to the hotel.

Brunch on the beautiful heated patio was perfect! An amazing Bloidy Mary Bar, too! Excellent live music! Loved it! We’ll be back!

The room was very clean and the location was great , the staff were kind and helpful.

We were only in Monterey for one night, but we had a great stay. Our room was ready, so we were able to check in early. The room was clean and quiet. Quick and easy walk to Fisherman's Wharf. A bit longer of a walk to Cannery Row, but it was very manageable. We didn't use it, but the pool area looked nice and other people were enjoying it. We'd definitely stay here again.

Wow. What can I say... I come to town and eat in many places for business dinners. Stopped for happy hour/lunch. Incredible meal, I had the prawns and little gem wedge. A margarita. Best meal I'd had in weeks. The ambiance is lovely in the patio. They had a live musician playing . Wish I took photos of the food to share, but instead savored the experience. This will be my new go too.
