We were greeted professionally and courteously by the host whose name I forgot. Brenda, our waitress was very friendly and professional. This place has a super ambience outdoor with a fire pit, an overhang if preferred, wonderful plants and even a resident cat. The food is unique and incredibly tasty. And above all the happy hour is offered with reasonable pricing (Sept , 2005) Incredible dinner specials are offered. We will return soon. This is our new hot spot, period.

We were here for tapas (pintxos) during happy hour. This is a good value, especially if you've had a big lunch. I had a glass of my favorite Albarino from Spain and some meatballs with brava (chile) sauce. My husband had a cocktail and the croquettes and both were great. Service is good and people watching is fun (a couple of celebrities, a young Asian couple on an economical date-splitting a large $18 hamburger, a bus tour of older people around the outside fire pit)! Lovely early California ambiance.

Comfortable hotel in decent location for Monterey or short car journey into Carmel

This is our new go to, it was clean in and around the property. The restaurant is really good as well!

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! The spices and freshness of the dishes were perfect. The drinks were also well-made. Our server was delightful and made the dinner even more enjoyable. I went back a few days later for appetizers and had an equally wonderful experience.

All staff were friendly and helpful whenever a need was expressed - both maintenance / front desk or on the phones. Great can do attitude! The pool while small, is well equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and bespeak a regard for comfort and not efforts for pizazz....nice Inn.
