We ordered the Paella del Mar, and because there was a 45-minute wait on the paella, we ordered a couple of tapas - the Gambas el Plancha and flatbread. The tapas were delicious - and so was my sangria. When the paella was served, it was beautiful - and it tasted as good as it looked! We shared the paella; it was plenty for two - especially after the tapas. The atmosphere at Estéban is warm, welcoming, romantic, and comfortable. The outdoor patio is lovely and in nice weather, that's where we'll be! Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5

This cozy gem of a hotel was the perfect place for us to spend the end of the holidays into the new year! I t’s in walking distance to everything and has a beautiful restaurant and outside patio too. The rooms are cozy, clean, new and beautifully kept. The staff was extremely kind and helpful too. This is def our new place to stay when in Monterrey and will tell all our friends about it. Don’t hesitate! Book it!

My wife and I had a 6:30 reservation and arrived 15 minutes early and were immediately seated with no wait. Loved the ambiance of this restaurant. Service was excellent. We had the roasted vegetables for starters and clams and mussels main course. Both were delicious. Complimented the meal trying both the Spain varietals of wine they offered. Would highly recommend this establishment for a beautiful evening. Thank you!

We will be back. The location is good, with everything fairly close by. The grounds and room exteriors are so charming. The room interiors were somewhat dated but clean and tastefully decorated. Our dinner at Esteban was amazing. They have beautiful patio, but it was a little chilly the night we were there. I'm looking forward to patio dining on our next visit. The spa ambiance was nice and relaxing. The service - specifically my deep tissue massage from Alma - was fantastic! We had such a great stay here. Our check in guy was fabulous! Friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and spacious. AC worked great. Great coffee in room. Excellent location. This was our second stay but the first time was years ago. Would totally come back.

Please share this is our second time staying at this lovely hotel. We liked it so much last time we even requested the same room. And got it. It has a fireplace and it’s spacious and just lovely. Amazing water pressure in the shower, too. The area around the hotel is so convenient, and it’s so easy to get north and south from here. We went down to Big Sur in about an hour enter Carmel Valley in 15 minutes. The staff here are lovely, the spa was great, and last year we ate a nice meal at Esteban. If we had any quibbles at all, it would be with the lighting in the room. The area near the fireplace, so perfect for reading, is not well lit. Some nice sconces would be a good touch. Great spot. We’ll be back.

Hotel is amazing and staff is very friendly and professional. We arrived a few minutes early and they allowed us to check in. The rooms are very nice and the location is wonderful. Again the staff is so professional and knowledgeable. It made for a wonderful stay.

We stay for our annual corporate retreat every year- and it never disappoints. Always close to great restaurants, room is spacious, clean and quiet!

Always a great experience as a splurge, though I do enjoy sitting outside more when the weather behaves. We brought out-of-town friends and it was delicious as always!
