Excellent front counter service, great rooms

Rooms were a little small. However dinner service was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent all around. Location is great. Safe, clean. Food was actually very good.

Hôtel bien situé. Chambre genre studio avec salon et cheminée, un grand lit très confortable, très bien isolée des bruits extérieurs (un peu moins de la tuyauterie intérieure). Mais très agréable et spacieuse. Un séjour de deux nuits très reposantes.

My first night here and I’m already in love. The suite is spacious and beautifully decorated. I also love the pool and fitness room, although it is a bit small for such a large property. I have to give Sydney a shout out for her exceptional service, she is remarkably poised and professional. She not only presented herself well, but she also looks the part. She was a huge help and very much appreciated.

Although we didn't stay at the hotel, our group enjoyed an amazing meal and fantastic drinks from very attentive servers. Virtually perfectly located to be able to walk to the many Monterey attractions.

Loved the Presidential suite. Fireplace and all. Close to restaurants with one on site. Short drive to the wharf.

Had a great stay here. They are truly dog-friendly and Jay at the front desk was wonderfully accommodating for a walk-in reservation late at night. Would definitely return!

Beds are extremely comfortable. Room was clean. Service is good. Highly recommend

Spacious two queen bed room. This place is old so I was a little iffy about it but it’s pretty well maintained. Room and bathroom were clean. It’s centrally located to go around Monterey and Carmel too. They have a restaurant that has happy hour daily except for NYE apparently. A couple things suggestions…doormats to wipe your shoes before going into the room. It’s been raining and it was gross to bring wet shoes into the room. They need signs telling people not to leave their car in the driveway when checking in. A couple inconsiderate guests blocked both driveway lanes backing up traffic for people wanting to enter the property to park. Pillows were a little flat. Btw if you’re a light sleeper you might want to ask for a room that doesn’t have one above it. You can definitely hear people walking around.
