Had a very great stay here, very nice ambiance, very affordable for what is offered, perfect location to explore the entire city, would absolutely recommend and would return.

We had a wonderful 25th anniversary on the outside patio at Esteban by the fireplace under warming lamps in a setting drenched in Monterey Bay's history. I called to arrange a surprise dinner. Jennifer and 2 other staff called 6 times to arrange flowers and just the right paella (which was terrific, better than in Barcelona), flowers and a special drink. We appreciated all the staff, especially Stephanie who was very attentive. We can't wait to go back; it's our new favorite.

Casa Munras was just the right combination of being full featured, yet cozy; the staff friendly yet correct and highly competent; all with a good location in downtown Monterey. Casa Munras has a good mix of room styles. Having stayed there many times and experienced different room categories, they are all comfortable and well-appointed, but my favorite are the fireplace rooms, especially in the wintertime.

Highly recommend this restaurant! A great atmosphere, walking distance to most things downtown Monterey. The paella was delicious and the wait staff were very attentive.

We had a party of 13 and they accommodated us in a private room. Yvonne was helpful and a great server. The food and service exceeded our expectations. We will be coming back!

Stayed for two nights and would stay again. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed sitting at the bar talking with Anna. Get the Carda-rum, it is delicious! We did not get to use the spa or pool but hope to next time. Great location, we walked to Old Fishermans Wharf and the beach multiple times. We also rented the bikes and biked to Cannery Row and back. 3 years later and this has become our family favorite hotel!!! Can't wait or our next trip. Esteban delivers fantastic Spanish-inspired cuisine with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. The tapas are flavorful, and the outdoor patio adds to the charm! Must visit during their happy hours! 10/10

I went to Estéban Restaurant ten years ago and had a great dinner. However, now it is even better. Everything was impeccably presented and delicious with farm to table fresh flavors. Joseph had insightful knowledge about the restaurant and the menu and the service team was attentive. If you want to have a relaxing evening with beautifully crafted food, Estéban is worth experiencing.
