Love the room; the fireplace was very nice, it's one of the reason why I come back to this place

This restaurant offers an unusual, fun dining experience. We have dined here several times and can vouch for the entire menu, from salads to tapas, flatbread and cheeses, paella to dessert. They are delicious! The beverages are also outstanding, with fun and original cocktails, including our favorite sangrias. Service is polite and attentive. Tables are spaced for privacy of conversations, which we appreciate.

It was exquisite. I started with a craft gin cocktail off menu, that was lovely. We were celebrating our Anniversary which they honored with a complimentary champagne toast. The sharable plates were perfectly and beautifully 'plated' and served in perfect timing that allowed us to enjoy and savor every bite and build up a moment of anticipation before they delivered the next dish. Every bite of every dish was absolutely delicious. The Brussel Sprouts are a MUST, the sea scallops were divine as was the pork belly. My wagyu steak with artichokes were exceptional - and I honestly thought I hated artichokes. My husband's New Zealand veal arrived looking like a plate from a magazine photo, and tasted of the same caliber. We can not wait to return. 10/10! This is our first time here and honestly we all enjoyed it. Everything was clean. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were very nice too. My sister and I went to the heated pool. It was okay. I was expecting it to be more warmer. But other than that it was very nice. I recommend!!

The manager upgraded us to a handicap room. The fireplace in the room was amazing. The hotel manager was outstanding having lived in the area her entire life. Had good suggestions for French Bakeries. Great location also. Nothing. The property was great.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Monterey. There are not many Spanish style places here but Esteban would stand out anywhere. Great food and service in a new setting

We had a wonderful 2-night stay in the off-season. Everything about the place was pretty outstanding--friendly and welcoming staff, lovely restaurant, convenient location, very reasonable for the beautiful accommodations, really pretty room with fireplace and everything in the room worked perfectly and was well-thought out (bedding, furnishing, lighting, placement of electrical outlets, fantastic shower), lovely outdoor pool, beautifully kept grounds and lobby, easy parking (at least in the off-season--I can imagine this become a little problematic in high season!). We are already looking forward to our next visit.

We had dinner at Esteban both nights. Food was wonderful, service very good and staff was friendly and attentive. Tapas was exceptional as was the sea bass dish
