Superlative choice for a quiet, relaxing stay at Monterey. Pefect location. The pastoric look of the facilities belies the fact that it's a hotel. From my perspective as someone who's worked in the foodservice industry for a long time. Esteban restuarant is exciting, yet also comforting. I look forward to my next stay at Casa Munras.

Went here for the paella and was not disappointed! It was delicious- we we're celebrating our anniversary and the service was amazing- can't remember our waitress name but she was great and gave us complementary champagne drinks to celebrate, can't wait to go back!

Arriving at this restaurant was a bit confusing at first, as it looks like a hotel from the outside, but once inside, it has the ambiance of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly waitstaff. While the prices are on the higher side, the portions were decent, and the food was excellent! We ordered the steak, flatbread, octopus, ice cream, pie, and a few drinks--all of which were well-flavored and delicious. The decor was charming, and we enjoyed a cozy spot by the fireplace, which added to the experience.
