From the front of the house, beautiful to the person who waited on us, fabulous! My husband and I have been dining at Estéban twice a year for many many years. Needless to say, our experiences have been wonderful, yet yesterday’s dinner exceeded even the best of our experiences. Please let the host, waitress, and chef know this. Thank you and have a pleasant rest of 2024 and a prosperous 2025!

We had a very good quick Christmas getaway. The location is terrific, very close to downtown and a short walk to Fisherman's wharf. We especially liked how pet friendly the hotel is, very welcoming and accommodating. We also had a very nice dinner at the restaurant. This is a great place to stay, especially if you're traveling with pets.

Great stay! Clean. Cozy. Convenient and walkable to Downtown Monterey! Anything you could want is within walking distance!

It was Christmas Eve and the staff and servers couldn’t have been more pleasant and welcoming. We weren’t totally organized as we brought a dog, a lot of presents and holiday merriment and good will. There was no pressure to order. Wonderful experience, as always. Estéban is our annual destination and tradition to celebrate dear friends and seriously god food!

Very cordial staff. Easy checkin. VG location in Monterey close to Aquarium, Wharf, good restaurants.

Delicious high end tapas style food and great wine. We were looked after by lovely wait staff and had a great night out. Not cheap but great value for money given the great food and wine quality and the service,

The place was very well pulled together. The staff was extremely warm and friendly. The restaurant manager was very nice and seated us and explained the menu before the server came over. He went over and above! Great central location. Easy to get in and out. Walkable to most things.

The empanadas off of the tapas menu are AMAZING and the servers were incredibly nice. Can't wait to go back for their amazing happy hour menu!

Last minute trip with my niece. This hotel was centrally located & we walked a LOT. The front desk person was exceptionally kind & allowed us to enter the room early. We ate at their restaurant this morning before checking out. Many people had their dogs with them. A great stay!

We picked this restaurant due to the reviews, the proximity to our hotel and to have something different. We chose the ham & cheese platter, Patatas bravas, pork belly, crab and the croquetas. The dishes are Spanish influenced, with little twists. The food quantity was more than enough for us Europeans. The crab (salad) was outstanding. The other dishes were excellent apart from the pork which was unfortunately dry. On mentioning this to the manager, he reacted in an excellent customer oriented way. Service as it should be, hence full marks.
