We went there for dinner at around 5:30 PM. We had a choice of dining indoors or outdoors. Having been outside all day long, we chose indoor dining. Looking at the menu I was afraid the cuisine, which included Tapas, would be a little too highbrow for my simple tastes. They have a full bar so that was a plus. The wife ordered the empanadas. I ordered a pizza, of which there were a few on the menu. We shared both. The empanadas were very good, and the pizza was excellent, a nice surprise in this very Mexican themed restaurant. The excellent dining experience was just a bonus to our stay at Casa Munras Spa & Hotel. We had a wonderful weekend in Monterey thanks to them.

Our stay at Casa Munras was spectacular! The room was cozy and cleanly. The grounds were well maintained and the heated pool was perfect! Although finding parking on busy nights was a problem but the front desk handled that very well. All staff were friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The spa was amazing and sooo relaxing, and a short walking distance to downtown Monterey.

We had dinner there this week; a first time experience. It was recommended by a neighbor, and it was excellent. The tapas are excellent for sharing, and the tapas were each tasty and well presented. We had excellent service and the restaurant was quiet enough inside for 4 of us to have a wonderful discussion/dialogue without shouting or having difficulty hearing. Highly recommended, and we will be back again.

Amazing stay! Super clean, close to lots of shops and restaurants, very friendly and helpful staff. Walk to Cannery Row in 40 minutes!

The outdoor patio was the perfect setting for our large birthday celebration. The service , pitchers of drinks and tapas suited our party goers wonderfully.

One of the best places we've stayed at in Monterey. Staff was friendly, the room was clean and ready. Located close enough to walk to the old fisherman's wharf. Would stay again..

We’ll be going back! The food was great, and the service was the best

We came here for Valentine's Day and I'm glad we did! The service is amazing and always so accommodating. Whether it's the server, manager, hostess, everybody worked as a team to attend to all needs. Although we had a reservation for 645 we did request if we could grab a table an hour earlier. Despite the backlog of folks on a Valentine's Day (as expected) they accommodated us! They did offer a 3 course V Day meal but we went with their regular menu. My wife and I both ordered the Half chicken. My 4 year old Izzy got the burger and fries from the kids menu. The restaurant is located in an upscale hotel and there is plenty of street parking.

Casa Munras is a beautiful property. Our room was clean, spacious and had a cozy fireplace. The hotel is located within walking distance to the wharf. We've enjoyed staying here several times when visiting Monterey
