A historic Inn and location a short walk from the tourist sites and "must see experiences" of the world famous Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf! Outstanding Staff starting with John R. at check-in to Judy in Housekeeping, and the amazing team lead by Elimar and Chef Ben in Esteban Restaurant, the entire staff is outgoing and friendly. After 5 nights here...its hard to leave!

Last night I had one of the best dining experiences . Not only was the food spectacular, but the garden patio was stunning, specially when the sun went down. We chose to share a bunch of items. the octopus, prawns, carrots, empanadas and steak, that melted in my mouth. It was so nice we didn't want to leave and we had a drinks by the outdoor fireplace when we finished dinner. If you are in Monterey absolutely worth a stop.

We so enjoyed our 2-week stay at your Casa Munras Inn where we celebrated our 50th Anniversary. The guest rooms at your inn are very comfortable and cozy with the fireplace and sizable room and bathroom. Housekeeping service was excellent when we requested their services. Very pleasant that we could open windows when we chose to capture some of that fresh coastal air. We were received very well by Sarah upon our arrival and assisted throughout our stay by Henna, Joslyn, and Sarah. We were very pleased with the services provide by all of the personnel, including housekeeping. Eddie is very helpful indeed. Their Esteban Restaurant has a beautiful new DINING PATIO. The patio has created a flow from the restaurant into a lovely European-type patio/garden with cozy-fireplace seating and tables, and beautiful scenes of trees, hillsides, and sky. Always have great experiences! The nicest servers and the best food. The new outside area with the live music was amazing (just the right loudness to provide background ambiance without ever intruding on our conversation) Highly recommended.

Great hotel in a great location! We had a really nice stay.

We enjoyed the newly remodeled patio. The food as always was no less than spectacular. We had the empanadas, octopus, brussels sprout and several more tapas that we just kept added to our meal. Each bite just as delicious as the first. Staff and manager always welcome you with a smile. There is a new Chef and I look forward to more of his creative contributions to the menu!

We loved our room. Fireplace was a plus. The hotel was in a great location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.I would definitely stay here again

I have been coming to Esteban for at least 15+ years and have seen it's transformation throughout the years. The restaurant and their new outdoor patio is amazing with wonderful atmosphere. The Tapas are great and the main courses are even more delicious. Good service and very friendly staff.

Best experience ever they have it all but the graveyard receptionist I wish to remember her name she's amazing and very attentive she made sure we where happy and satisfied with our room what an amazing host and the rooms are gorgeous.

My daughter and I decided to eat dinner here this evening, and it was one of the best meals we have had in a while. These were definitely the best tapas we have had outside of Spain. I got a glass of the house red and she got a glass of the red sangria. We shared all the food: The Pinxtos sampler: Pan y aceite, aceitunas, & almendras Verduras a la Brassa Patatas Bravas Empanadas Crema Catalana (dessert) Everything was fantastic! We sat in the back room next to the fireplace, which provided a quiet place to talk about our day together. The service was very good, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I would come back here in a heartbeat the next time I visit Monterey.
