I am used to "clean" but the room was absolutely immaculate!
I am used to "clean" but the room was absolutely immaculate! Also, we had no trouble charging our EV on the equipment available, though the charger was not near our room. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will settle for returning soon.
Estéban Restaurant - They were able to accommodate us with our dog
They were able to accommodate us with our dog even though the usual patio was closed for construction. They found a corner spot away from other guests for us to tuck into. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and really made the experience phenomenal. The best part was the dog friendly menu. Our dog is always anxious when traveling and having a fresh cooked meal helps maintain her appetite otherwise she'd refuse to eat on the road, and this place was able to provide a relaxing and safe atmosphere for our dog as well as nutritious food. As for human food, definitely try the Iberico pork. It's our favorite meal so far.
Three day conference in near by hotel. Great access to Monterey and close to everything. Good restaurant on site and additional Thai restaurant and pastry cafe walking distance accross the street.
We visit Monterey 2-3x per year, and always stay at Casa Munras over the past 5 years. Nice rooms w small gas fireplace, nice Spanish restaurant. And dog friendly
This was my third stay at Casa Munras, and it gets better ever time! Beautiful grounds, comfortable and attractive rooms and an incredible staff! I’ll be back!
Such a lovely piece. Warm welcome at check in. We were second floor in a block of rooms at the back of the site. Rooms were huge, warm and had a fire! Beds were so comfy. We walked out to the town & ate at Melville tavern. The town is lovely and felt very safe
I took my daughter for a coastal drive up Hwy 1 from Los Angeles to San Francisco in March of 2017 while she was on spring break. It was the most beautiful experience to stop spend each night in a coastal town -- Santa Barbara, Cambria, Monterey. I waited until the night before to see what Priceline would offer up and this hotel looked like it would be a beautiful experience and IT WAS! The hotel was beautiful in its mediterranean/Spanish style. The property is cozy and clean, warm and inviting. The staff are helpful and not over-bearing. I felt at home. We both got massages and enjoyed the outdoor whirpool. Dinner was delicious and after dinner, I enjoyed a glass of wine beside the outdoor fire pit. A fabulous venture before our breath-taking drive over the Golden Gate bridge. Thank you Casa Munras! I look forward to visiting again.
Beautiful historic hotel. Rooms are sumptuous, very clean, and comfortable. Location offers great walkability for restaurant, shops, coast. Staff are friendly and John in reception is wonderful. There's a pool, spa, and restaurant also. Treat yourself and visit this tucked away gem. Rooms: Comfortable. Great bedding. Gas fireplace. Refrigerator. Safe. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights: Romantic
