Love this hotel. Have been going for years. Just recently went for my birthday and the staff was amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable with fireplace. Everything about this hotel is great. The location, the service, the restaurant, the rooms etc. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Monterey

One of the older original hotel complexes in Monterey very nice recently remodeled everything upgraded highly recommend this hotel.

I love this hotel. The buildings have a Mission style charm, and the grounds are lively and peaceful. The pool was heated enough to enjoy in the cooler temps, and the rooms are warm and exciting. We had a fireplace room, and we loved the furnishings and comfy king. This was the second d visit, and housekeeping was quiet and relaxed. It was possible to sleep in. Overall, a wonderful hotel.

Absolutely loved this hotel. I love how dog friendly they are. The rooms are beautiful. I stay in dog friendly hotels often, and sometimes hotels will put you in the worst rooms (rooms that are damaged) when you stay with a pet. Casa Munras had beautiful rooms with gorgeous hardwood flooring and a designated pet relief area.There is also a pet friendly restaurant with a doggie menu, though we didn’t try that out. Staff was also friendly and accommodating.

Bob from the front desk was very helpful from check in to check out.

I stayed there with my kids, 11 & 18, and we had a wonderful time. Room was lovely, dinner at Esteban was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be recommending it to friends and family.

This is the perfect location to stay in downtown Monterey. Close to freeway and close enough to walk everywhere in Monterey. Our room was very nice. The restaurant on site is great with a very nice outside eating area. And dog friendly!

We recently stayed here just one night and were sad to leave. The hotel is set in pretty grounds, not far from the local shops, bars and restaurants. On arrival the staff were super friendly and helpful and recommended somewhere for a quick breakfast the next day on our way to an early whale watching trip. The pool area was well maintained and was not too busy. We were able to park outside our room and the room itself was clean and comfortable. Monterey itself is worth a visit and we were sad to stay only one night. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked good. We did try the bar and sat by the fire in the lobby with drinks. All in all a really nice stay on our way to Santa Barbara. Would recommend!

It was clean, easy to find and it had parking as well. We stopped in Monterey to have a relaxing day and having a pool at the hotel made that possible for us. Restaurant on site was nice too!
