In the Words of our Monterey Guests

We stayed here 41 years ago on our honeymoon and decided to stay 2 nights on a recent trip through California. I am so relieved to know it is just as charming as it was then! Room was cozy (nice bed/bedding) and roomy. Grounds were lovely. Feels quaint. We went to the restaurant for happy hour (which was great) but it was so good that we decided to just eat dinner there as well. Easy walk to wharf, Trader Joe's and other dining options. We would happily come stay again sometime (hopefully a little warmer so we could use the pool this time :))

I had a great birthday dinner with wonderful food and wine. The service was great and the atmosphere was restful even though the dining room was fairly occupied but not crowded or noisy. As we were leaving we spotted a very famous personality dining there with his family.

Great food and service! Becky was a wonderful server who made us feel so welcome! Good variety of different dishes. The atmosphere was warm and cozy.

The crispy Brussels were amazing! I recommend getting them and the lamb was delicious!

Great hotel and the service was excellent. The tapas hour was definitely a highlight.

Great place to stay. Everything was walkable, from shopping to many dining options. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Estéban is a great restaurant for breakfast, happy hour and dinner. Excellent and creative dishes served with a friendly atmosphere. Check it out

My wife and I have been coming to Casa Munras since we were dating in the early 2010s when we fell in love with each other AND Monterey.... I love their pool and swam in it even though it was starting to rain.... The rooms are always clean and we call it home during our stay... The property is beautiful and well taken care of....Alvarado Street is a couple of blocks away and Cannery Row is within walking distance.... We'll always call Casa Munras home when we visit Monterey❤️
