I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Monterey.

For the price, it’s unbeatable. Usually hotel showers are a bit scary, but this one was immaculate. Amazing food and experience. The staff was so lovely!

The overall feel of this establishment was wonderful. Excellent job in the maintenance and overall design.

The food was excellent and always seemed to be the right amount. The staff was exceptional from the person who kindly seated us outside to the all the wait staff - efficient, informative, and so aware of when to "intrude". My friend hadn't seen each other in a long-time so very much to catch-up with. The staff must have sensed that since they were so respectful. Clearly a place to visit again.

This was my fourth or fifth stay, here at Casa Munras. It's clean, safe, and easily accessible to the sights of Monterey. It is walkable to restaurants. I enjoy the grounds and the quietness of the hotel. The hotel team is always friendly.

I love the special they are running right now for $1 oysters on Sundays starting at 430. They also have a great happy hour menu! The bartenders who have served me, Christian and Yvonne are very friendly and are great mixologists and gave us the best service! And in looking at their menu they have very well priced specials all week long. Beautiful charming hotel. Wonderful service.

We were greeted professionally and courteously by the host whose name I forgot. Brenda, our waitress was very friendly and professional. This place has a super ambience outdoor with a fire pit, an overhang if preferred, wonderful plants and even a resident cat. The food is unique and incredibly tasty. And above all the happy hour is offered with reasonable pricing (Sept , 2005) Incredible dinner specials are offered. We will return soon. This is our new hot spot, period.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. It was a great location and the service was fantastic
