My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Munras. The property itself is lovely, clean, and private. The staff is wonderful, especially Henna at the front desk. We especially enjoyed the beautiful fireplace, the large TV, and the location--within walking distance to so much, including Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row.

The Tapas at Estebans are consistently great. A must when we visit Monterey. This time we enjoyed them so, that we came back the next evening. The waitress was very sweet, friendly and attentive. Great service. We enjoyed the CHAMPIONE COCA FLATBREAD with oyster mushrooms, the VERDURAS A LA BRASA, the COASTAL VIEW FARMS ROASTED ORGANIC ASPARAGUS, the GAMBAS AL PLANCHA, the GRILLED MORROCAN SPICED LAMB, the DONNA DIRT FARMS CRISPY BRUSSEL SPROUTS, the ZANAHORIAS and the PULPO FRITO.

It’s a very cute spot and close to attractions, shops, and restaurants. It has a very intimate vibe, and the staff was very nice.

Very comfy spot in Monterey. Nice rooms and grounds.

I went here with my friend on a girls’ trip. We sat next to the fireplace and felt so cozy! Our server, Salome, was very attentive and helpful, and made excellent recommendations for food. Everything we ate was delicious and the presentation was lovely. I especially enjoyed the empanadas and siesta thyme cocktail. We’re looking forward to coming back next time we are in Monterey!

Dining by the fireplace was fantastic. Lia was an excellent waitress and this is my third time at Esteban. I would go back many more times if I am in Monterey for conferences. Thank you so much for the wonderful food.
