We have been eating here for many years, we have never had a bad experience. Great menu, excellent food, friendly and attentive staff. Also, the remodel of the outside dining area is great. Highly recommend!

It's been years since we have visited Monterey. We stayed at Casa Munras for a wedding because it was recommended and it was great.

Great location, friendly staff, always accommodating in terms of room requests and things like that. We recently tried out the the free bike rentals that come with the room, rode the majority of the trail up to Pacific Grove, highly recommend checking that out. Beds are very comfortable although a tad squeaky -_- , views are great depending which room you get. Bathrooms are pretty nice, big Spanish tile type of design. If you're into walking the location here cannot be beat.. 10 mins to Fishermans wharf, 20 to cannery row, 5 to downtown Monterey, etc. This is by far our favorite place to stay and we've been here a lot over the years and always look forward to coming back!

Since our wedding, we have made t a dinner tradition to come to Monterey on our anniversary. Not only is the food AMAZING! but the service and ambiance are too. Back to the food, their Paellas, patatas bravas and roasted veggies are my favorite. P.s. can I get your recipe for the seasoning on the patatas bravas? My current pregnancy craving is veggies and that seasoning has now left me craving it. Please and thank you

We loved our few days at this hotel, and wish we could have stayed longer. It was in a good location close to the main street with plenty of restaurants which led down to Old Fishermans Wharf. Our room was spacious and spotless. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely meal in Estebans, and sat outside on the patio after. The pool was a bonus to relax in at the start/end of a day's sightseeing. Would love to return and would recommend to anyone spending time in Monterey.

Tried several items off the menu and the one dish that stood out The Most was the EMPANADAS!!! OMG sooo fresh and sooo ultra delicious!!! Comes 2 on a plate and We should have easily ordered 4 plates of them and be very satisfied! A clear very close 2nd place was their WAGYU meat. Very very tender and so very delicious as well. Recommended dishes Wagyu, Tapas

The hotel is about 10 minutes by walking away from the center with restaurants an bars.

Wow!! Esteban's did an incredible job at their Fall Release Party from 430-630pm on Oct 4! I was worried thinking it would be too crowded. They did a wonderful job in limiting the amount of people on their beautiful new patio. The food was terrific. The croquettes, the empanadas and pizza bites were plentiful. There was beer or wine to purchase if you wanted. The staff were an amazing group of people. There was a whiskey tasting that was so much fun. Anne Marie Roberts ,a Maker's Mark Diplomat explained the whole process. Esteban's actually has a whiskey with their label! There was a lovely musician playing. Tim McGregor the GM told all the guests about the plans for the patio to come! We were fortunate to meet Elimar Acosto - the food and beverage manager. He showed us their herb garden used in the preparation of the restaurant's meals and drinks! Meeting the most talented chef Ben Hillan was such a thrill! If you haven't been there in a while or have never been, don't walk here but RUN! You are in for a major treat! Their Paella Tuesdays can't be beat. Thanks everyone at the Esteban's for such a memorable evening

Excellent service and seating both indoors and outside. I've noticed the outside caters very well to the warmth this time of the year for all seating with firepits and usually music around as well. I can't emphasize the service enough. The paella is indeed a 45m wait as stated on the menu and was exquisite and delicious. The simple bread order with oil and vinegar was excellent. Usually for establishments like this I would order many rounds of tapas (in particular any octopus/pulpo dish and especially mejillones y almejas borrachos but after a long day a simple bread and paella was envisioned to be the perfect order for the night and it was exactly as imagined. Thank you!
