We enjoyed the location, the fireplace and ambience of our room, quietness, very comfortable bed and pillows.

Great customer service both times we went at check in and out. Beautiful rooms both times. Only place I want to stay in Monterey. Rooms: Beautiful rooms. Fireplaces are cute and warm. romantic. Nearby activities: They offer bike rental, everything in walking distance.

I've dined at the hotel's restaurant several times but never stayed here until recently, and I absolutely loved it. Check in was smooth. The lobby is warm and the person at the front desk was so personable and efficient. Upon check in, I was able to select if I wanted a room upstairs or downstairs, and I opted for the former. My room was comfortable, clean, and stylish. The decor perfectly suits the Spanish-style hotel. I especially loved the fireplace and size of TV. Parking was $17 a night. I came and went several times and never had an issue parking near my room. The hotel is located near lots of cafes, restaurants, shops, and other attractions like the pier and aquarium, but it is so quiet that you never feel like you're in a city center. Overall, I had a great experience. I only wish I had more time to stay and dine at Esteban's!

My partner planned for a short birthday weekend getaway to Monterey by booking two nights at Casa Munras Hotel. The first night we arrived we had dinner at Estéban-- to my delight I found the food delectable and the staff to be extremely amiable and professional. We loved it so much we had dinner again the following day. The Pulpo Frito is our #1 choice but the Del Mar Paella is not far behind. I loved my Virgin Mojito (I have pathetic alcohol tolerance) and my partner enjoyed his Sangria. We look forward to many more visits to Estéban.

I had a wonderful 3 night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. It’s very centrally located to everything. We had a light dinner at their restaurant Esteban our first night there and it was delicious.

Cozy fireplace room with nice quality bedding and amenities. Easy walk to restaurants and boardwalk. Friendly, helpful staff.

I've stayed here a few times for my work trips, and I really thought the location was convenient to access the freeways to commute to my work locations, the restaurant on property (Esteban's) was excellent, and parking was easy and straight forward. The room was accurate as listed, my friend who was in the area joined me on the last trip, and we had a lovely time at Esteban's (empanadas and chocolate chip cookies with valhrona chocolate were to die for) and a cozy 2 night stay. We mostly spent our time out working or eating at restaurants nearby in Monterey/Carmel Valley. The amenities (ie in bathrooms) were basic, but we didn't need anything extra! I recommend it for a safe, clean and cozy place to sleep, easy parking/check-in and out, and overall good value!

My wife and I were on Date Night for Family Life Weekend to Remember Marriage Conference. We had 830pm reservations on Sat 11/5/22. We were immediately seated next to an indoor fireplace (cozy and romantic). Everyone was on point. I'm sorry I did not get names except for our waitress Lisdel. She was delightful, professional, and her suggestions of fresh oysters, bacon wrapped dates, Iberico pork, and the Farmers market salad was wonderful. The 20 oz coffee rubbed rib eye was cooked to perfection. (we shared). The entire staff working that night was awesome, from greeting us, periodically bussing our table, and checking on us for anything of need. It was a wonderful experience that will deserve revisiting.
