In the Words of our Monterey Guests

We picked this restaurant due to the reviews, the proximity to our hotel and to have something different. We chose the ham & cheese platter, Patatas bravas, pork belly, crab and the croquetas. The dishes are Spanish influenced, with little twists. The food quantity was more than enough for us Europeans. The crab (salad) was outstanding. The other dishes were excellent apart from the pork which was unfortunately dry. On mentioning this to the manager, he reacted in an excellent customer oriented way. Service as it should be, hence full marks.

Last minute trip with my niece. This hotel was centrally located & we walked a LOT. The front desk person was exceptionally kind & allowed us to enter the room early. We ate at their restaurant this morning before checking out. Many people had their dogs with them. A great stay!

Great hotel, the location was perfect to walk everywhere. Loved having the fire place as it’s pretty chilly in Monterey. Highly recommend

Esteban Restaurant is a hidden GEM! The food is out of this world! Their happy hour pricing is so affordable, especially nowadays. I LOVE this place. The service is subpar - if I’m honest, but the food, price & ambiance make up for it. It’s my favorite spot to eat dinner & walk to Golden State Theater for a show.

Great for a work trip or family trip! Don’t miss eating dinner at Esteban!

This hotel is a gem. Close to restaurants and the Golden State Theater. We are staying again.

The rooms were very clean and the restaurant and bar staff were exceptional. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very pleased with the menu options and the staff. The front desk staff were friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Casa Munras to anyone staying overnight in Monterey.

This was a great place to stay. Really tidy, value for money. All the staff were very nice. Went with a 2 year old and we could walk everywhere we needed to. Will definitely book again
