Cute place, spacious rooms, and perfect location near downtown Monterey. Parking lot is a little confusing but there were plenty of spaces. Quick walk to Alta bakery and Trader Joe's was a plus!

Absolutely 💯 the best place to stay in Monterey! Such a perfect location for exploring on foot, centrally located to shops, restaurants, and the pier, yet you'll feel like you're in a secluded mediterranean resort. The grounds are lush and perfectly maintained. The pool area is so relaxing for reading in the afternoons. The rooms are spacious, we had a king deluxe with a fireplace, right by the pool. Very comfortable bed and amazing water pressure. A/C worked fantastic and there was a ceiling fan as well. The grounds feel extremely safe. And please eat at the hotel restaurant, Esteban's! Truly delicious dinner and breakfast. The patio area is beyond compare, so inviting and relaxing. Way to go Casa Munras, we can't wait to come back! 🙌

Every time we’re in Monterey, we always make it a point to get at least one nights reservation to eat at Esteban. Always fantastic food and a good value.

We started with the brussel sprouts and prawns ~ delicious!! We both had the bavette ~ steak ~ absolutely delicious!! We didn’t know what to expect and were so thrilled everything from seating to server to food ~ no complaints. Highly recommend Estéban ~ we’ll be back

Our anniversary stay at Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa was just what we wanted. The hotel is in a very walkable area of Old Monterey with good restaurants and shopping nearby. Casa Munras property is maintained, from the rooms, gardens, and pool. We will stay here again

Excellent service from being greeted as we entered to the service both from the assistant server to the main server! Our server gave us excellent recommendations on the dishes to select from. All four of us had a wonderful experience and we would recommend Esteban restaurant. Two of our guests are locals and they just found a gem and will be referring to others (both family and friends). We look forward on returning! Kudos to Esteban restaurant!

It was great we were staying at the hotel so very convenient and great space for fining on patio.

Lovely place to stay. The room was very clean and well maintained, with everything you could need. The hotel is within walking distance of the local shops and restaurants, as well as the the sea front and Cannery Row. We didn't use the pool but it certainly looked clean and inviting. A very nice place.

Like most restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula Esteban is dog friendly. They have a gorgeous back patio with heating lamps. This was our second visit and the food was as good as we remembered. The margaritas started off a great meal. The Gambas (shrimp), potatoes and paella were all wonderful with large portions. The staff is very attentive and took care of us and our pooch (there is a dog menu if you feel like spoiling your dog). We were too late for happy hour but it looks like a bargain

I recently stayed at Casa Munras on a recent business trip. The room was nicely appointed, very clean and spacious. The location is close to many food locations which are within walking distance. The facility is well kept, quiet and has an amazing history. I plan on staying here in the future for personal enjoyment.
