This was our second time staying at this place and it was just as good as the last one. The rooms are clean and the hotel feels safe. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay! Walking distance to downtown

Great location, easy to find, with so many places to visit, shop and eat, all within walking distances. Lovely room, very quiet and comfortable. Would recommend to couples, or someone who might take full advantage of the spa and restaurant (which I did not on this occasion) - great for treating yourself.

This was our fourth or fifth stay at Casa Munras, and we have enjoyed all of them. It is in a special niche between a full-service hotel and a motel-type place. You park near your room and carry your bags, etc. Rooms open to the exterior, not a hallway. There is no valet parking. The prices are lower than the fancier full-service hotels in the area, but the rooms are spacious, the grounds are pretty, and it's within walking distance to downtown. There is a fantastic restaurant and bar (we recommend the margaritas!) and a well-maintained, attractive pool. We always go for a king room with a fireplace, which is super-cozy in cooler weather. (If you are looking for serenity, you might want to ask for a room that is NOT poolside in warm weather.) But if you're traveling with kids, close to the pool is perfect. The place is big enough that you can have choices. We love it here.

The food is wonderful! This is one of my favorite places to go. Definitely get the bacon wrapped dates!
