The staff at Casa Munras went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my visit, their commitment to hospitality was evident at every turn. Every member of the team was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated to making my stay memorable. The accommodations were nothing short of superb. My room was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and exuded a sense of tranquility. The comfortable bed, luxurious linens, and thoughtful amenities provided a true haven after a long day of exploration. I especially loved the lush garden views from my window, which added a touch of serenity to my stay. One of the highlights of my visit was indulging in the spa located directly accross hotel lobby. The skilled therapists provided a blissful escape, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and pampered. The spa itself was an oasis of calmness, with its serene ambiance and expertly designed treatment rooms. I highly recommend treating yourself to a spa experience during your stay. The on-site restaurant, Estéban, was a culinary delight. The menu showcased a fusion of Mediterranean and Spanish flavors, and each dish was a masterpiece. The attentive waitstaff, inviting atmosphere, and delectable cuisine made every dining experience a true pleasure. I loved the papas brava and sangria Overall, Casa Munras Garden Hotel & Spa is a hidden gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. Whether you're visiting Monterey for business or pleasure, this charming establishment will exceed your expectations. Fireplace was nice, smaller than expected but did a great job warming up the room. The pillows were comfy, and the overall setting & atmosphere of the hotel is very cozy.

Love this place.. staff is excellent!! Thank you Henna for helping us getting checked a little early so we could check in before attending the motorcycle event!!!!

Ambiance is spacious, airy, cool and the tables are spaced well apart. They've got a nice bar and clean restrooms with a cozy waiting area. Well staffed and quick with service. Food and drink was wonderful! We tried the Octopus (SO good and tender), a fish dish, and a couple of their vegetarian options. All were wonderful, flavor, with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be coming here again and I recommend that everyone try this restaurant once! As a Monterey local, I assumed that Esteban was only open to their partnered hotel Casa Munras. But you absolutely can enjoy a meal here without being a guest - and I highly reccommend you do! I would put Esteban up there with the Grotto, Sardine Factory, and Whaling Station as a few of the top places to try when in Monterey. Happy to find a new spot to frequent.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise! It’s always a little anxiety provoking to reserve in line sight unseen but this exceeded my expectations! From the beautiful reception area with a cozy fireplace to the pool (I was the only person there one day), to the beautiful rooms and super comfy bed! It was perfection! I will definitely stay again !

Finally treated myself to body wrap and facial. Jacqueline was awesome. Service was prompt and spa is super clean. Felt very comfortable and totally relaxed. Highly recommend this place!!

Elegant, comfortable, welcoming ambience paying respect to Spanish California and delicious, fresh Spanish-Californian-Mediterranean flavors make this a winning restaurant. We appreciated the friendly and hard-working staff. The dishes were suffused with harmonious flavor such as an incredible watermelon gazpacho with herb oil and chocolate mint from the Casa Munras garden.

A very comfortable, attractive and friendly hotel that because of its history and design feels like a hybrid high-end motor inn combined with a boutique hotel in its center. It has a gorgeous lobby and ample services and spa in the main buildings with rooms that feel comfortable, clean and cozy, and appropriate for couples or families. The location is a good base for seeing the peninsula. While breakfast is not included, we were very pleased with the room rate at Casa Munras. We will return, next time with our teens. Finally, we highly recommend Esteban, the hotel's impressive Spanish-California-themed restaurant.

Highly recommend Esteban’s at Casas Munras. Suggest making a reservation as it’s very lively early! I was excited to try their 3 course paella dinner (unadvertised) and it did not disappoint!! It included a yummy salad, a perfect size mussel and scallop paella which was so tasty. The dessert was a crème Brûlée! Our waiter Salome along with the entire staff was terrific! My husband had the cochinillo pork- a large pork belly prepared to perfection! As well the asparagus and pimientos on the tapas menu was total deliciousness! Every dish was unique and thoughtfully prepared! Service was attentive and the meal beautifully orchestrated! Looking forward to trying different dishes when we return! Bravo Esteban’s!!
