I had a great birthday dinner with wonderful food and wine. The service was great and the atmosphere was restful even though the dining room was fairly occupied but not crowded or noisy. As we were leaving we spotted a very famous personality dining there with his family.

We stayed here 41 years ago on our honeymoon and decided to stay 2 nights on a recent trip through California. I am so relieved to know it is just as charming as it was then! Room was cozy (nice bed/bedding) and roomy. Grounds were lovely. Feels quaint. We went to the restaurant for happy hour (which was great) but it was so good that we decided to just eat dinner there as well. Easy walk to wharf, Trader Joe's and other dining options. We would happily come stay again sometime (hopefully a little warmer so we could use the pool this time :))

Excellent all around. Location is great. Safe, clean. Food was actually very good.

Rooms were a little small. However dinner service was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Clean, quiet dog friendly hotel centrally located in Monterey a short walk from everything. Front office staff very pleasant. Honest quote on pricing. Restaurant is top notch and highly rated. Even their separate doggy menu had great food.

Friendly staff, well appointed room (SO CLEAN!!!) and hands down the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The sheets and pillows were bliss. A great stay, wish we had more nights to stay!

All staff were friendly and helpful whenever a need was expressed - both maintenance / front desk or on the phones. Great can do attitude! The pool while small, is well equipped with comfortable lounge chairs and bespeak a regard for comfort and not efforts for pizazz....nice Inn.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! The spices and freshness of the dishes were perfect. The drinks were also well-made. Our server was delightful and made the dinner even more enjoyable. I went back a few days later for appetizers and had an equally wonderful experience.

This is our new go to, it was clean in and around the property. The restaurant is really good as well!
