We had a great weekend stay. The room was well cared for - both upon arrival and during out stay. The staff was great. We had a particularly wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Highly recommend!

Stayed for two nights and would stay again. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and we enjoyed sitting at the bar talking with Anna. Get the Carda-rum, it is delicious! We did not get to use the spa or pool but hope to next time. Great location, we walked to Old Fishermans Wharf and the beach multiple times. We also rented the bikes and biked to Cannery Row and back. 3 years later and this has become our family favorite hotel!!! Can't wait or our next trip. 2026: Another year in the books and another lovely stay!

Nice rooms and staff

Wonderful friendly staff especially the gentlemen on the front desk, the gals who answerer the phone are also a pleasure and help with any questions we have. The water gets really hot and has never "run out", which happens at other places apparently. Rooms are cozy and they have plenty of ice machines around the establishment, it's also a dispenser thing instead of a bucket which keeps it super sanitary. 10/10 we always return here when on vacation. Plus there's a really good Szechuan Chinese place across the street just a tiny bit of a walk away, I'd highly recommend to grab a noodles, rice, and beef broccoli tray thing togo!

Nice hotel in a good location. Check-in was easy enough and the rooms were very nice with a slightly rustic feel. The gym was also a big bonus for us.

We loved our experience at Esteban! Kid, dog, even cat friendly! They have a pet menu and our dog received a bowl with a burger patty, fried egg, and several strips of bacon. The outdoor patio is spacious with fire pits. For humans, we loved the guava mimosa, lavender honey chia pudding, eggs benedict, and casa omelette. The room was great, the staff were incredible, the location was convenient. But maybe the biggest sleeper with this hotel is its restaurant. The food here is worthy of a special trip. When something as simple as Brussels sprouts tapas can make you weep, you know you're onto something special. Don't get me started on the Avocado toast! Loved every minute of this stay and will definitely return!

Room was small, but clean and cozy. I love the Spanish inspired details. There is ample parking space, pool, and a patch of grass to let your dog do its business. The inhouse restaurant was very lovely! It was very cozy, especially at night. They have a fireplace and some good music.

Always awesome! Great staff and comfortable rooms. Always clean. And staff is very helpful and accommodating. I come here a lot! Haven't tried the spa yet. But the bar and restaurant are really good.

The hotel was in a great location. Check in was very easy in a nice smaller lobby with the restaurant. There is easy parking that was close to my room. The room was very clean and very comfortable and with an awesome bed. It was clean and very quiet. I also like the style and furnishings. It is conveniently located with a close walk to downtown Monterey. I was in a hurry so I was unable to try the onsite restaurant, it looked nice though. But after hours there is a Denny's across the street. Everything was nice about Casa Munras and probably due to the time of year, very reasonable in price. It was an excellent value. I hope to return again.
