My wife and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary and wanted a hotel with all the amenities, and that is exactly what we got.

We love staying at Casa Munras. Me and my husband stayed there for our baby moon and honeymoon, and brought our daughter with us this time. It is always perfectly clean(which is a huge deal for me), the pool is well kept and heated all year, and employees are very nice. Location is perfect too; super close to Alvarado Street Brewery and restaurants. Definitely the best place to stay in Monterey, and will always go back when we visit town.

Outstanding food ! Great ambience and service and outstanding food (tapas).. we had the roasted carrots on white bean hummus and the empanadas with pork and feta. Everything, including the cocktails, was superb! Definitely recommended.

I'd highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Monterey! The property is conveniently located and is beautiful. I loved the landscaping and how the buildings are laid out. You'll actually feel like you're visiting the CA coast, so don't settle for a chain hotel. The front desk staff was helpful with information about our stay. We went to the bar at the on site Esteban restaurant twice and enjoyed it as a place to unwind. They had indoor and outdoor seating with heaters, like a little oasis. The pool is heated all year like they say. The room was clean and so inviting! We loved the room with the fireplace. Would love to return!

We’ve stayed at Casa Munras many times, going back to 1990. We live in Santa Cruz county so we usually plan a visit within two weeks of staying here. Sometimes we just need a change of scenery or we’ll stay the night to start a vacation early to Santa Barbara or Cambria or Pismo Beach. Service is excellent from the front desk. They always do their best to give us one of our favorite rooms. Old Monterey is right outside the door including the best dining in Monterey. The nearby Trader Joe’s is handy as well. We stay a few times a year. The well appointed rooms, location and comfy beds keep bringing us back. The only thing they could use is a microwave for leftovers. Everything else is perfect. We’ll be back!

Wow, this place rocks! Especially the service. Our servicer was Lisdel and she was the nicest person we have ever met. She was so sincere, relatable, took her time to chat with us, and attentive! The good was amazing and tasty. It was fun to try a few different dishes and can't wait to go back. Oh, the rosé sangria was yummy too. I want to have it again on a Sunday warm day sitting on their patio.

Great place for a weekend getaway. Clean, walkable, good amenities. We’ve stayed here many times and will be back!

Staff Member Rene made a difference in my experience at the hotel. Mr Rene went above and beyond to accommodate me and assist me in a room change. This act changed my entire experience at the hotel and I have to thank Mr Rene for that. Front desk staff Jocelyn also was consistently kind and professional with warm greetings that helped me feel at ease on a long work trip away from home. Thank you Casa Munras Staff for an awesome example of hospitality!
