The best time to visit Monterey is the spring and early summer, between April and the end of June. Summer offers the warmest temperatures and perfect beach days, but spring has fewer crowds. Spring also brings awesome food festivals, like the Pebble Beach Food & Wine in mid-April and the Artichoke Festival in Castroville in early June.
