Great and enjoyable stay. Took our Chihuahua with us. Hotel is very accommodating. Cleaning services provided on request. Very comfy bed. Home style decor. Coffee and plenty bath amenities. SEPARATE tub and shower! Took a soak in the tub. Heated pool with plenty of towels. Nice bedding. Opened shuttered windows, still providing privacy. Had a great vacation!

From checking in at front desk with Matthew to service at bar and restaurant, to the loveliness of the grounds and beautiful room, we plan to return often. A thoroughly wonderful stay.

The Casa Munras is a great choice when you're looking for a nice place to call your home away from home while in Monterey. It's charming, clean, well maintained, the staff is exceptional, great food in the restaurant, and it's conveniently located within walking distance of everything. We love staying there, and can't wait to visit again.

Was attending a racing event at Laguna Seca during the day and wanted to stay in Monterey for the night before heading over to Carmel Valley the next day to visit friends. The location of Casa Munras couldnt be better. Right across the street from a great Thai Restaurant, a popular breakfast place called Wild Plum Cafe, and even a Denny's. Alvarado Street Brewing is just a few minute walk down the block, as is a Peet's Coffee that shares a patio with Fieldwork Brewing that has a great fire pit. My room was clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with a nice TV and internet access. My bed was very comfy; it contained some very high thread count sheets and a lovely comforter. A large ceiling fan and electronic thermostat allow you to customize your room's climate. - - - Check in was very efficient and professional with Lola at the front desk. I chose to park my car onsite, which was an "extra" but didnt mind because there was security. I didnt have time to use the pool or experience the Esteban restaurant onsite, but I very much enjoyed my stay and as I posted earlier, Casa Munras has an excellent location that is off the beaten tourist path so that its quiet enough to sleep at night, yet just a few minute walk from the downtown area. I will definitely be coming back!

We loved the character and charm of the hotel and the location is great! With lots to get to by foot. It was clean and well kept and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be visiting again!

My bestie and I had a quick girls getaway to celebrate her birthday. The hotel was an amazing spot with a great restaurant. We enjoyed our stay from the moment we drove in to our check out. The staff is friendly and the hotel was very well maintained. We both got a great nights rest. We both agree we will return with our husbands soon.

Casa Munras was a great find, the grounds were beautiful, it was a homelike setting, not a typical hotel setting. We stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been more. It was very clean, and the bedding very comfortable - I have a Tempurpedic and it was better than mine. It was convenient to all the sites we visited and places we dined (Aquarium, 17 Mile Drive, Recreational biking/walking path).

Our family stayed at the hotel over the Veteran’s Day holiday weekend. We love old town Monterey and we decided to stay at Casa Munras for the first time. We will definitely stay again. The hotel is perfectly situated within short walking distance of all of the historic downtown sites, as well as great shops and restaurants. The aquarium is a brief drive or nice walk away. The hotel room was immaculate and beautifully appointed with clean, crisp white bedding with a touch of color. So much better than bland corporate hotels. We don’t typically travel with our dog, but we decided to bring her along this time. I’m glad we did. Casa Munras is very accommodating of well-behaved pets, and she was welcomed at all restaurants (with outdoor seating areas) around town.

Very professional and friendly staff. The entire property has a charming vibe, and the rooms are not only clean but they include nice little extra amenities. The restaurant is fantastic. The location is perfect.

I stayed for a couple of days and did my research online ahead of time. I have to say that the actual stay was even more impressive than the reviews I read. The property is neat and in a great area. The room was clean and updated. I will stay there again definitely! What a great place - I am so glad I found it.
