The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. The beds are true queen-size and very comfortable. Upon entering, we noticed the room smelled lovely and was clean. We booked a standard double queen and the room was spacious. The front desk staff was friendly, making the check-in process smooth. Additionally, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and being able to cast streaming services from our phones was convenient and nice added bonus. The pool is small but the area is well maintained.
We stayed at Casa Munras during our trip to Monterey, and it was the second hotel we booked while in town. Overall, it was a really lovely stay and such a great location for exploring the area. The room itself was beautiful and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable, which is always a big plus after a long day out. We also appreciated the A/C unit, a large mirror for getting ready, and the overall cozy feel of the space. Little touches like a 12:30pm late checkout and breakfast served until noon made the stay feel relaxed and accommodating. One of the best parts is that everything is within walking distance, which made it so easy to get around without having to constantly drive. The only minor hiccup was at the pool. It's a pretty big space, but there weren't any towels available when we got there. That said, staff brought them out right away, so it was quickly resolved. Honestly, we spent most of our time at the beach anyway, so it didn't impact our stay much. They also offer a 15% discount on spa services, which I didn't get a chance to use this time, but it's a nice perk if you're planning a more relaxing stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely consider staying again next time we're in Monterey.
The special was a buger and the was delicious. The kids burger is not much smaller then the regular burger. We sat inside but the outside patio area looked really nice. | Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Noise level: Quiet, easy to talk

Whenever I'm in the Monterey area I eat at Esteban. I've never had a tapas there I didn't love. The hardest part is choosing among the many choices but you can graze your way through the meal so you don't miss a thing. The outdoor eating area is lovely with heaters when needed. Parents with children seem to be enjoying themselves as well.
Great food, friendly staff. Sat outside and it was perfect weather. What a great start to the day. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Will be back! Bloody Mary bar was a hit too!
We stopped in just passing by to have a late breakfast and we were so pleased! The breakfast menu is moderately priced with a nice selection of options. I enjoyed the avocado toast, which was probably one of the best I've had. So flavorful and well spiced, with 2 perfectly poached eggs, and on Otto's sourdough. Amazing! My husband had the full breakfast with eggs, potatoes (perfectly seasoned) bacon and again Otto's toast. It was equally delicious! Staff is welcoming and friendly, and the outdoor dining patio provided a beautiful setting. Even the music in the background was perfect. Highly recommend!
Finally made it to Esteban for dinner on our recent trip to Monterrey. The food is wonderful and loved the abundance of seafood in the paella. Our server is attentive and prompt. Outside seating is a plus especially on a nice clear night.
