Love this place. When in town for business, i always come back to this place. Quiet , clean clean clean , friendly staff and the surrounding areas are amazing. Super comfortable and worth it

My family and I sat on the patio and had an amazing dining experience! The food was outstanding. We ordered a lot of different dishes and the standout items were the farmers market salad, so fresh and seasonal. The pulpo frito was everyone’s favorite. Their paellas are delicious and great to share. For dessert we had the creme Catalan, the basque cheesecake and the flan all a wonderful way to end the meal. Our servers were great and attentive. Cocktails were fun and innovative. I worked with both Elimar and Isabelle to book the reservation since we were a large party and they both were very helpful and attentive answering all our questions. This was our 4th time dining at Esteban’s and we’ll definitely be back again soon.

We had one of our favorite stays here! Such a beautiful room and a wonderful restaurant on site. We will stay here every time we come to Monterey!

Stayed for one night, but I wish I would’ve stayed a few more nights. It was such a nice, quiet hotel. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town.

Food was great! The halibut was a bit dried, but the server was very honest to agree immediately and switch out a better one for us. Great service and great food!!!

Our family booked adjacent suites and had the best weekend ever. Henna at the concierge desk was wonderful, and during a brief blackout on the Friday night consoled my elderly mother and made sure our family had everything we needed. The restaurant is first rate, the room service is thorough and excellent, and all and all the customer service and friendliness was very helpful and seamless. And the Wild Plum restaurant across the street is just like an extra detail that made our stay that much more memorable and delicious. Thank you Henna!

Popped in with my husband for tapas happy hour…nice patio seating and fantastic friendly service. Spanish margarita was tasty . We ordered 3 of the happy hour tapas and that ended up being dinner for the night

There is a small pool and a restaurant onside but the most impressive aspect is the location. 5 minutes from the main street and 5 more minutes to the busy coastal boulevard. Rooms: 5/5Service: 5/5Location: 5/5 Walkability Plenty of rooms at ground level and very walkable from major attractions

Repeat visit for tapas and drinks with visiting friends. Everything on the menu, drinks, and service is really excellent.

The cleanliness is exemplary. The entire staffs from the cleaning crew and front desk were outstanding in taking care of us during our stay.
