We had a wonderful dinner on July 6. The food was delicious and our server, Lisel (may not be spelling her name correctly), was fabulous!! She was sweet, thoughtful and didn’t miss a beat. Everything was done with a beautiful smile.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this location. Casa is in a great location only a few minutes walk away from some great restaurants and around a 20/ 30-minute walk to the pier/waterfront. Upon arrival, we had a very warm welcome from the front desk staff who pointed us in the direction of our room. We had a ground floor room with parking right outside. Our room was very, very spacious with a nice, comfy, large bed. The room is equipped with a TV, armchairs, desk, and lamps. The bathroom had a bath/shower combo with complimentary shower and bath gels to use. The hotel has an online restaurant and an outdoor temperature controlled pool. Love the happy hour at the restaurant's patio. From the left of the hotel lobby, a foot path leading to the iron gate of the patio. We ordered the Brussel sprouts and garlic prawns. Both are of good portion size. Washed them down with sangria, delicious. Latino jazz is playing in the background and jasmine scant is in the air. This is living.

Salome was very attentive and explained all the dishes well. He made everything sound so delicious! Great food, best Spanish tapas ever We would go back if we came back into town again.

Esteban’s food quality and service were excellent -as usual! We always make this a tradition to stop here on our Annual week-long Anniversary Trip. We started with grilled octopus (Soooo good!!) , a Farmers Market Salad, Fabulously Fat Asparagus .YUM YUM YUM ! We also ordered the empanadas for the road. Then the piec d’ resistance — Paella Del Mar! Soooo wonderful and just right for the two of us. Not to be outdone in the dessert round - We shared a healthy and generous portion of Basque cheesecake and traditional flan that was the best we’ve ever eaten! A totally fantastic meal that was accompanied by a Spanish Margarita and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc with a bottle of sparkling water. This was all served up to us by our waiter EJ and crew in a professionally efficient yet relaxed and friendly manner. Thank you all so much for our lovely celebration of 49 years of marriage

I am a huge fan of Casa Munras! I work in Monterey 1-3 times a month, and I always stay here. I travel frequently for work, and I always opt to stay at Casa, despite the fact that I have loyalty accounts with the other major chains in the area. There are specific reasons why I choose to stay at Casa Munras: 1. Super comfortable beds with comfy, fluffy pillows. 2. The fireplace rooms are a lovely cozy bonus, especially for cooler nights on the coast. 3. The hotel is very quiet, even when they are clearly at capacity! I am a light sleeper and travel frequently, so this is a huge must for me. 4. All the staff is just so friendly, kind and responsive. Work travel can be lonely, and being able to interact with kind employees really makes such a difference. 5. Esteban, the on-site restaurant, has delicious tapas! 6. The rooms are always clean, and housekeeping will come during your stay to refresh your room. Not a given anymore at hotels, and so appreciated! 7. It's a quick walk to restaurants in downtown, and a slightly longer (but perfectly manageable) walk to the water and restaurants closer to the pier. As you can see I am a fan of Casa Munras! I am so grateful for their consistent service and comfortable beds for the months that I am on the road.

Very clean, nice room. Comfortable and convenient to downtown Monterey and Carmel. Super experience!

It was a Girl trip and we had a fantastic time!
