Wow - I’m a local and had no idea this existed and now it’s part of my regular routine!

We came here pretty late on a weekend, we were on a hunt for a nice dessert. We were definitely pleasantly surprised by their selection. So glad we got to try the Leche Flan and CC cookies, both were heavenly! Nice outdoor ambience, we sat by the fireplace and it was def the perfect conclusion to our date night Staff was gracious and pleasant. It's already bookmarked!

Terrific outdoor terrace offers small Happy Hour tapas & sangria, margaritas or beer. Outdoor courtyard area has fireplaces/pits on when a chill is in the air & lots of flowering plants & vines make for lovely outdoor ambiance. Indoor seating available if inclement weather or too hot. Really loved the 3 different tapas plates we ordered: grilled brussels sprouts; serrano ham w/manchego/pickled onions/mustsrd/artisan bread; patatas bravas. Sangria can be ordered by pitcher or by the glass. Enjoyed it!

I was there for a two-day foreign language teaching seminar and the service provided by the staff there was very good. Service: 5/5

We had an amazing dinner with a variety of Tapas. The outdoor setting and subtle live music was perfect. To add to a beautiful evening we had one of the best servers on the peninsula “Jessie” aka Jessica!!!

Great option for staying in Monterey. Close to downtown area. Rooms were nice and quiet, and the staff was very friendly.

We have been coming to Casa Munras for years and love the location and the comfort of the rooms. One of the best hotel beds we’ve stayed on. Easy walk to Alvarado St. and the wharfs.

My wife and I got married in Monterey in May 2024 and chose Casa Munras for our hotel room block. We were SO pleased with the experience all around! We booked rooms for our guests and the hotel team provided a link that our guests could use to fill that block. We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner one evening in their Andalucía Room, and it was lovely - delicious food, excellent service, and gracious hospitality. The location is excellent - 5-minute walk to Alvarado Street and Downtown Monterey, and also across the street from several other hotels that offered more budget accommodation (for those guests seeking same). And a heated outdoor pool…?! We definitely enjoyed the included amenities… The staff took extra steps to make sure we were taken care of - when there was a mix-up with the rooms, the team went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Shout-out and special thanks to Christian, Isabelle, Stacy, Stephanie, John, Henna, Jay, EJ, and the whole Casa Munras team for making us and our guests feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay. We look forward to staying at Casa Munras again when we are next in Monterey, and recommend them for both a room block and/or a private event if you are seeking space for same on the Peninsula!
