My husband and I had a wonderful dinner on the patio. Our waitress was fantastic. Her personality shined throughout our evening. We both had the paella (Monterey) and the (Primavera). We are from the Bay Area peninsula and decided to bring our dog this time. Again our waitress and staff made our Shelby feel like home!!

Very nice and accessible. I received a welcome text the morning before check in. The staff was available and answered all of our questions. The hotel is very well located. About an 8 minute walk from the wharf and an old downtown area. Lots of food, bars, desserts, and breakfast. The grounds are beautiful! And the heated pool was a fun surprise 😁

Decided to try this place as we were staying at Casa Munras for a few nights. We ordered the Pimentos de Padron (grilled peppers), Gambia's Al Plancha (shrimp), Verduras a la Brasa (grilled veggies) and the bread pudding for dessert. The food and service were both excellent! The ambiance outside was very romantic. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend for high quality Spanish style tapas

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and it was fantastic! Our room was a little small at first until we talked to the concierge and they upgraded our room for us at no extra charge. The service was immaculate! And if you ever get a chance to meet Hannah you’ll instantly know that you chose the right place to stay! Everything from the complimentary bike rentals to the quick service when asking for extra towels or plastic silverware! It was great! Highly recommended!

We had an excellent stay at this first class hotel. Gina provided us with an excellent itinerary for our entire stay. A very enjoyable stay with very pleasant staff that made us feel at home. A must stay at Monterey.

During our ladies weekend to celebrate my 44th birthday we celebrated dinner at Estéban, which was our first visit. It was perfection! One of the ladies has a gluten allergy and they had so many options. We loved the tapas style, pitchers of authentic sangria, and the paella was to die for. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration truly special. I cannot recommend this authentic, delightful restaurant highly enough.

Casa Munras is always delightful to stay at.

A revisit to Esteban's with my oldest friend and it's even better than our last visit!! It was FABULOUS! The patio is so much fun!! We also noticed they added intensive heaters for the fog! We came with our doggie and truly this restaurant brought us so much joy! Esteban's keeps improving in such a tough tough business!! Paella Tuesdays are a very good deal. For $38 you get a beautiful 3 course meal. It included a good sized Caesar salad, veg mini paella and a crème Brûlée to die for!! We ordered 2 other tapas on their happy hour menu- potatoes bravas done to perfection and their clams/mussels on the happy hour menu. The sauce was incredible and we ordered more bread. None of us could get over how delicious it was! Chef Ben Hillan is TOPS! He's inventive, low key and his amazing energy comes forth in every dish!! I watched all the plates and very happy customers! Kudos also to Elimar Acosta, the food and beverage manager! Clearly he was working overtime serving tables and seeing to it , everyone was comfortable! Service is interesting here as all the servers pitch in ! All friendly & accomodating! If you haven't been yet I say RUN to my most favorite dining establishment. Please don't tell too many others as we want to keep it so very special! To everyone there- who added to our amazing memory! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! YOU ALL ROCK!!!

Was in town for business at Monterey Convention center it was within walking distance. There Alot nice restaurants and shopping in area. I would come back again👍 Rooms: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

My wife and I got married in Monterey in May 2024 and chose Casa Munras for our hotel room block. We were SO pleased with the experience all around! We booked rooms for our guests and the hotel team provided a link that our guests could use to fill that block. We also hosted our Rehearsal Dinner one evening in their Andalucía Room, and it was lovely - delicious food, excellent service, and gracious hospitality. The location is excellent - 5-minute walk to Alvarado Street and Downtown Monterey, and also across the street from several other hotels that offered more budget accommodation (for those guests seeking same). And a heated outdoor pool…?! We definitely enjoyed the included amenities… The staff took extra steps to make sure we were taken care of - when there was a mix-up with the rooms, the team went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Shout-out and special thanks to Christian, Isabelle, Stacy, Stephanie, John, Henna, Jay, EJ, and the whole Casa Munras team for making us and our guests feel so welcome and comfortable during our stay. We look forward to staying at Casa Munras again when we are next in Monterey, and recommend them for both a room block and/or a private event if you are seeking space for same on the Peninsula!
