We started with the brussel sprouts and prawns ~ delicious!! We both had the bavette ~ steak ~ absolutely delicious!! We didn’t know what to expect and were so thrilled everything from seating to server to food ~ no complaints. Highly recommend Estéban ~ we’ll be back

Every time we’re in Monterey, we always make it a point to get at least one nights reservation to eat at Esteban. Always fantastic food and a good value.

Absolutely 💯 the best place to stay in Monterey! Such a perfect location for exploring on foot, centrally located to shops, restaurants, and the pier, yet you'll feel like you're in a secluded mediterranean resort. The grounds are lush and perfectly maintained. The pool area is so relaxing for reading in the afternoons. The rooms are spacious, we had a king deluxe with a fireplace, right by the pool. Very comfortable bed and amazing water pressure. A/C worked fantastic and there was a ceiling fan as well. The grounds feel extremely safe. And please eat at the hotel restaurant, Esteban's! Truly delicious dinner and breakfast. The patio area is beyond compare, so inviting and relaxing. Way to go Casa Munras, we can't wait to come back! 🙌

Cute place, spacious rooms, and perfect location near downtown Monterey. Parking lot is a little confusing but there were plenty of spaces. Quick walk to Alta bakery and Trader Joe's was a plus!

Excellent hotel! I stayed here for business and after such a wonderful experience, I'm going to stay here every time I come to Monterey! Wonderful staff and nice, safe property.

I never write reviews but I want to mention this one. We've been travelling all summer and this is the cutest, most hospitable place we've stayed, By far the best value for money! Generously sized rooms, very clean, great beds. Add a dash of charm, which is unusual in motel-type settings. Staff upgraded us to two beds for free and without us asking. Well located in the heart of Monterey. This was a good find! Fitness center needs a little more equipment.

While staying at Casa Munras during Monterey Car Week, we always eat at Esteban's. The outdoor patio is so lush with beautiful landscape and the atmosphere is just perfect. The food is truly outstanding 👏 every think we ordered, from the scallops, the Caesar salad, and the cheese and custard for desert, ohhh just delightful. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. Just a fabulous place to dine. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5 Recommended dishes: Charcuterie, Tapas
