Casa Munras is our first choice.

This is one of our favorite locations to stay at when visiting Monterey. Staff is friendly, the area is walkable, it’s close to many restaurants and shops, and the beds are comfortable.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at Casa Munras Garden Hotel in Monterey! The grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was immaculate and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals, and the staff went above and beyond, always warm and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Casa Munras is a true gem in Monterey, and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent stay at Casa Munras. Quaint with a lot of history but rooms are all updated. Had a King Suite w/ Fireplace and used the fireplace a lot! Outdoor pool is warm. Restaurant serves a very good breakfast. Parking is not free though.

Arriving at this restaurant was a bit confusing at first, as it looks like a hotel from the outside, but once inside, it has the ambiance of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly waitstaff. While the prices are on the higher side, the portions were decent, and the food was excellent! We ordered the steak, flatbread, octopus, ice cream, pie, and a few drinks--all of which were well-flavored and delicious. The decor was charming, and we enjoyed a cozy spot by the fireplace, which added to the experience.
