Casa Munras Hotel is beautiful and we loved all the upgrades/remodeling they recently did! We stayed in the King Concierge Suite, room 702. Gorgeous room!! We loved the huge soaking tub and all the storage. We booked our room online, through their website; and their room prices are so reasonable for what they offer and for the loveliness of the whole hotel. And we were even allowed to bring our dog to stay, which was so awesome. I was greeted at the front desk by Henna, who is absolutely amazing!! She was so friendly and nice and even sent us up a bottle of champagne, apple cider (in case we didn’t drink) and chocolates. What a lovely way to start our mini vacation. Roberto was so nice also and got us ice when we needed it. He is great! Anna, the bartender, loved her!! And Kianna, loved her too!! We loved that this hotel is away from the busy Cannery Row. For us, the location was perfect. Overall, we were so impressed with this hotel and all of the staff, who seriously, were the best hotel staff I have ever encountered. We plan on coming back every year and making it our annual mini vacation!

First I have to say the staff is outstanding. Let me now continue. The location is the best there is. Its convenient to everything and easy walks to a lot stuff including Trader Joes and some neat bars and restaurants and for me just a block away from a really good Chinese Restaurant that I frequent because of broccoli, which I try to eat daily. Our room was beautiful with a wonderful fireplace and the place is quiet. There is quite a bit of construction taking place on the site but its done very professionally and I have to say the men doing it are really a nice bunch of guys who always say hello. They have a gorgeous pool for a nice dip in the middle of the day that's perfect with a glass of Monterey wine. Additionally, my wife and I love the restaurant there and had great breakfasts and especially the Happy Hours with those special little dishes you could order for sampling and not get too big a portions. The bartender, Ana, was the best and she fixed me the finest Mohito's I have ever had and I am including ones I had in several places in Key West. We highly recommend this wonderful place for anyone who wants a fair price and a great accommodation with wonderful people staffing. Its ranks in our top five all time hotels.

Nice, clean and spacious room with large fireplace. Shower was fantastic! Hotel is going through a remodel at the moment but this did not affect our stay. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was lovely and spoke to other guests who stayed in the newer rooms which were just as nice. There is an outdoor pool area which we did not use as the weather was not that warm. Hotel does a happy hour 4-7 each day for reduced priced drinks and tapas - well worth a visit. Hotel is location about a 10-15 minute walk from Fishermans Wharf and about 25-30 minute walk from Canary Row. Lovely walk down in the morning and very easy path to follow. However, there are also some bars and restaurants nearer the hotel which are really nice and more local orientated.

Bedrooms - large, comfortable and very well appointed. Lovely to have a real fire in the room. Really beautiful. Service in the restaurant in the evening was fairly slow but it was very busy and the food was worth waiting for. Breakfast was very good too.

Nice, clean and spacious rooms including a romantic fireplace. Friendly staff. The restaurant serves good and healthy breakfast and for dinner I will recommend the tapas. Nice walk from the hotel true Monterey to the fisherman's wharf.

I have stayed here for work travel and have nothing but great things to say! It's a 2 min walk from downtown - a ton of restaurants and bars, friendly staff and love all the places to plug in devices in the room! The rooms are spotless and great amenities!!! The pool is great and friendly bar.

Wonderful place, such a great little luxury on our two-week trip through California. Professional, attentive service from staff... wish we could've stayed longer! Would definitely stay again. Very nice pool, beautiful room. I accidentally left a few things in the nightstand drawer... which were quickly shipped to our house when I called to double check if I'd left them there.

Great location in reasonable walking distance of restaurants and the wharf. Quiet and quaint rooms with comfortable beds. Felt like I was part of Monterey history. Fire pits were a nice touch for the hotel restaurant.

This place has the BEST customer service I've ever experienced from a hotel. I work for a tour company and I have been in hotels all around the world, but these folks really impressed me. Every person I spoke with was so accommodating and kind. The hotel is extremely nice too. Comfy bedding, good sized rooms. I won't hesitate to stay here again when I am in town. Thanks!

Loved this hotel ! Cozy , has a great restaurant & walking distance to downtown/other shops/restaurants !
