The newly transformed garden - outside dining area - is absolutely stunning. There are fire pits for cocktails plus chairs around a fireplace. They also have new heaters. The happy hour menu is limited yet very good. The shrimp has heat, but not too much - delicious! Beet salad was filled with beets - also delicious. The wage burger always is good. A little pricy the ambience makes it special.
Great little inn near old downtown Monterey. We loved that it was super close (walkable) to multiple restaurants, shops, and Peet’s Coffee. The Junior suite was perfect with a fireplace for the chilly nights. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something with a bit more character than a typical hotel.
This is our 3rd visit to the property. We love that it is historic, beautiful grounds, close to shops, open spaces and excellent walks. The heated pool is a treat. Quiet, peaceful and excellent/friendly staff
We had a lovely dinner, delicious food, fantastic service, outdoor dining area that was absolutely breathtaking, live instrumental music to top off the night
Super nice front desk and great green spaces around property for pups. Very dog friendly overall and I like the proximity to Alvarado street and the beach. Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Great value
