The location of hotel is closed to downtown, shopping center, old fishermans wharf, and easy to get to the freeway. The hotel is nice, the room is clean and good services. We will definitely stay there again on next trip.
This place is quaint, cozy, and quiet. Beautiful landscape, above average in quality of rooms. Fast, friendly staff. I've stayed here numerous times. This is the only place for me when visiting Monterey.
The room was very clean and quite comfortable. The hotel is centrally located and in walking distance to downtown, and with easy access to the beach! Beautiful walk into town from the hotel, with many restaurants close by!
Location is great for walking down to harbor and downtown, but very quiet. Interiors well designed. Staff was great. Pool looked great. Restaurant Esteban has a nice bar. Food and service very good. We stayed 3 nights. Parking very secure.
Booked 3 nights at the Casa between Christmas & New Years. We have never stayed there before, but it is dog friendly, and our kids were staying nearby. When we stepped into the lobby we were greeted by a wonderful hostess (I did not get her name, but she was great). Check in was a breeze. Our room was really nice. Often "dog friendly" rooms are a little less than perfect, but this was great. It was clean, recently redone, and warm. There is also a bar/restaurant on site that has a fire pit and outside heaters for gathering. We will definitely stay here again. The location is great.. a few minutes walk to the pier and so many interesting shops on the way. It is a very large hotel, but the service was one on one.
This Hotel is a hidden gem! We had a deluxe King room with a fire place and wood floors. The staff is excellent and they truly go up and beyond to satisfy their guests. Bobby was the best in working with us in a dire situation, so if you’re looking for a location that cares about their guests, this is the place to go too!
I absolutely loved staying at Casa Munras. With its Spanish charm and lovely surroundings, it was a bit of an oasis to escape to after a long day of traveling for work. My room was gorgeous. I'm normally not a fan of traditional, classic decor but this room was an exception (I stayed in a King Deluxe). It was tastefully decorated, fully functional, spacious and cozy. I also stayed here on a very cold night and the fireplace next to my bed was a great help! Service was outstanding too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There were lots of parking spaces as well (overnight parking costs $15). The hotel's restaurant, Esteban, is excellent. Serving Spanish tapas, it was a great way to enjoy dinner without feeling uncomfortably full afterwards. The food was extremely tasty and the wait staff were top-notch. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Monterey. I can honestly say that Casa Munras is a gem.
My family and I recently stayed at the Casa Munras Garden Hotel and Spa in Monterey, Ca. It was the best experience we have had in a Monterey hotel. The kids loved the heated pool and freshly baked cookies! And my wife and I enjoyed the lovely fire place and cozy blankets on our queen bed! The young man at the front desk named Ty was a great help in providing tips and recommendations for our visit. There is also a great restaurant called Esteban’s that is located in the hotel, very good food and service. I suggest the breakfast burritos! It was a great experience and we will definitely stay there again!
Very nice room, quiet, comfortable, roomy, and affordable. Staff was great. Will go back again and recommend to friends. Great location and conveniently located to downtown Monterey and 7 minutes to downtown Carmel.
We went ahead and booked the deluxe king room. We absolutely loved it. The room was clean, and we also got lucky with being all the way in the back, so we were far away from any traffic noise. If you are given the option to be on the top floor, take it. You’ll more than likely get a balcony with a beautiful view! I especially liked how close it was to everything. There are many shops and restaurants that are a quick walk down the road. The hotel staff was also very nice and accommodating. We also decided to splurge and get a couples massage at the spa and it was amazing! The only downside is that there is a parking fee of 15 per night. Definitely coming back in the future though!
