  • How long do these tours last and what will be covered in these tours?

    Depending on which tour company you choose, historic walking tours of Old Monterey, CA will last one to two hours. Tours cover the Old Town and Monterey State Historic Park, Monterey waterfront and Fisherman's Wharf, and/or Cannery Row. You'll hear stories of early Spanish explorers, historic Monterey adobes, the local fishing and sardine industry, and what daily life was like for the intrepid residents of early California. 
  • Can I bring my dog to these tours?

    In general, friendly, leashed dogs are permitted on tours of Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row. Please let your tour company know in advance if you are bringing a dog with you. Dogs are not allowed on tours that visit the interior of homes and buildings in the Old Town Historic District.
